Based on data from the population register, five new positive tests were found in Harju County (4 in Tallinn), 3 in Ida-Viru County (2 of them in Narva) and 1 in Pärnu County. One person who received positive test result did not have a county registration data in Estonian Polulation Register.
According to the latest data from the morning of 3 of June, 19 patients require hospitalisation in Estonia due to the coronavirus, there are no patients on ventilation. 342 persons have been discharged from hospitals and 354 disease cases have been closed.
To date 1650 persons have recovered from the disease. 1283 (77.8%) of these cases have been closed and in the cases of 367 persons (22.2%), more than 28 days have passed from receiving a positive test result and they are not hospitalised.
Over the 24-hour period, 74-year old woman infected with COVID-19 died in the North-Estonian Regional Hospital. In total, the coronavirus has caused the deaths of 69 persons in Estonia.

The Health Board reminds everyone that even after the end of the emergency situation, vigilance towards COVID-19 as well as other infectious diseases should stay high: hand hygiene, social distancing and staying home when sick are still important measures to follow. The coronavirus is spread mainly from person-to-person, usually via close contact with an infected person. Close contact is seen as a situation where people are closer than 2 metres to each other for the duration of 15 minutes.
