The laboratories diagnosed additional 35 persons with coronavirus

As of morning of March 25, 404 persons were infected with coronavirus, total number of tests performed were 4,809.  As of yesterday, 768 additional tests were done. Compared to day before, 35 positive test results were found: 11 in Tartu county, 8 in Harju County, 8 in Võru County, 2 in Ida-Viru County, 2 in Pärnu County, 2 in Saaremaa Island, 1 in Lääne-Virumaa County, and 1 in Põlva County. Starting from March 24 and for the duration of the emergency situation, Mr Arkadi Popov has joined the Health Board’s crisis team as a medical director. Yesterday, laboratories confirmed 26 new coronavirus cases

By the morning of March 23, 352 people had been diagnosed with coronavirus in Estonia. A total of 495 test results received, which is 78 more than the day before. The Health Board’s laboratory confirmed 24 new cases of coronavirus, there are 41 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Estonia in total.
