90 year old man from Ida-Viru County dies due to Covid-19
After testing positive for the Covid-19 virus, a 90 year old man died at the Ida-Viru Central Hospital last night.
From 30 to 31 March, 1149 coronavirus tests were analysed in Estonia, and 30 tests (3%) came back positive. According to the population register, over the 24 hour period, the highest number of coronavirus cases were found in Harju County (10), followed by Saare County (6), Ida-Viru County (3), Pärnu County (2), Rapla County (2), Tartu County (2) and Võru County (2). 856 coronavirus tests were analysed in the past 24 hours, 36 new positive cases added
From 29 to 30 March, 856 coronavirus tests were analysed in Estonia, and 36 tests (4%) came back positive.
According to the population register, over the 24 hour period, the highest number of coronavirus cases were found in Saare County (17), followed by Harju County (8), Ida-Viru County (5), Järva County (2), and Rapla County (3). One new positive case was found Tartu County and in Valga County.

A 90 year old man died in Saaremaa from Covid-19
During the night, after testing positive a 90-year-old man died in Saaremaa, at the Saaremaa Valss care home, from complications of Covid-19.

1200 coronavirus test were analysed in 24 hours, 70 new positive cases added
Between 27 and 28 March, a total of 1200 coronavirus tests were analysed in Estonia, and 70 tests (6%) came back positive.
According to the population register, over the 24 hour period, the highest number of coronavirus cases were found in Saare County (34), followed by Harju County (18), Lääne-Viru County (4), Pärnu County (4), and Hiiu County (3). 1010 coronavirus test were analysed in 24 hours, 37 new positive cases added
On 26 and 27 March, a total of 1010 coronavirus tests were analysed in Estonia, and 37 tests (4%) came back positive. According to the population register, over the 24 hour period, most coronavirus cases were found in Saare County (14), Võru County (6), Pärnu County (5), and Harju County (5).

Private health clinics and dental clinics will offer only emergency aid
The Health Board is suspending all planned treatments outside the national hospital network in order to stop the spread of the COVID-19 infection. Private health clinics and dental clinics will continue offering only emergency assistance. Due to the new coronavirus, 34 patients are currently hospitalised in Estonia, of them 7 in intensive care and 6 in critical condition.

Two days of tests identified 134 new cases of infection yesterday
By the morning of 26 March, 538 people had been diagnosed with coronavirus in Estonia, after 7090 had been tested.
From today we will be publishing the test results using data from the health information system (TIS) as this system receives data from referrals. Two residents of a care home in Saaremaa were diagnosed with Covid-19
Two residents of Saaremaa Südamekodu Care Home tested positive for coronavirus. Both infected persons were admitted to the Kuressaare Hospital for treatment, their condition is stable, and they are under medical supervision.

The first person infected with COVID-19 has died in Estonia
The Health Board has received confirmation on the first person in Estonia who has passed away due to COVID-19. “Our deepest condolences to the family. This is a very emotionally hard moment and an extremely sad day. This shows that we must continue our fight against the spread of the virus,” said the medical director of the Health Board crisis cell, doctor Arkadi Popov.
