In total, 333 individuals are being treated in hospital due to symptomatic COVID-19

As of the morning of 30 March, hospital treatment is being provided to 322 individuals who have been infected with COVID-19. A total of 148 patients who have COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment after having developed severe symptoms, including 86 patients or 58.1% of the overall figure who have not been vaccinated, and 62 patients or 41.9% who have been fully vaccinated.

The average hospitalisation rate for the last seven days for every 100,000 members of the country's vaccinated population is 0.7 people a day, while for the unvaccinated population the figure is 2.9.

Thirty-eight new COVID-19 cases have been opened by hospitals within the past 24 hours; in eleven of those cases, the patients required hospitalisation due to symptomatic COVID-19. On average within the past ten days, 18.9 new patients each day who exhibit signs of symptomatic COVID-19 infection have been hospitalised. Three deaths have been added of individuals who were infected by COVID-19, involving a 73 year-old man, a 74 year-old woman, and also a 97 year-old woman. None of those individuals had been vaccinated.

The last 24 hours have also seen 4,276 tests being analysed in Estonia in relation to coronavirus, of which the results of 1,405 were positive. The average infection rate for the last seven days for every 100,000 members of the country's vaccinated population is 83, while for the unvaccinated population the figure is 87.

A total of 570 vaccine doses have been administered over the past 24 hours, with 66 individuals receiving their first injections. As of this morning, 444,066 individuals had received their additional or booster doses. Of the total population in Estonia, 63.4% have received two vaccine doses.
