In total, 313 individuals are being treated in hospital due to symptomatic COVID-19

As of the morning of 26 November, hospital treatment is being provided to 313 individuals who have been infected with COVID-19. A total of 259 patients who have COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment after having developed serious symptoms, including 187 patients who have not been vaccinated (which means 72.0% of the overall figure), and seventy-two patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 28.0% of the overall figure).

Thirty-four new COVID-19 cases have been opened by hospitals within the past 24 hours. Eight new deaths have been registered within the same period of time, involving a 59 year-old man, a 67 year-old man, a 72 year-old woman, a 74 year-old man, a 78 year-old woman, an 84 year-old woman, an 85 year-old man, and an 87 year-old man. Six of those individuals had not been vaccinated.

The last 24 hours have also seen 6,052 tests being analysed in Estonia in relation to coronavirus, of which the results of 636 were positive. In total, 418 of the new cases were unvaccinated, while 218 infected individuals had completed the vaccination process.

A total of 6,595 vaccine doses have been administered over the past 24 hours, with 733 individuals receiving their first injections. As of this morning, 163,892 individuals had received their additional or booster doses. Of the total population in Estonia, 59.0% are fully vaccinated.

A total of 223 patients who have COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment after having developed serious symptoms, including 178 patients who have not been vaccinated (which covers 80% of the overall figure), and forty-five patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 20% of the overall figure).
