In total, 306 individuals are being treated in hospital due to symptomatic COVID-19

As of the morning of 29 November, hospital treatment is being provided to 306 individuals who have been infected with COVID-19. A total of 254 patients who have COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment after having developed serious symptoms, including 186 patients who have not been vaccinated (which means 73.2% of the overall figure), and sixty-eight patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 26.8% of the overall figure).

Thirty-three new COVID-19 cases have been opened by hospitals within the past 24 hours. Seven new deaths have been registered within the same period of time, involving a 71 year-old man, a 79 year-old man, an 81 year-old woman, an 86 year-old woman, an 87 year-old woman, an 88 year-old man, and an 89 year-old woman. Four of those individuals had not been vaccinated, while the vaccination status of one further individual is still being investigated.

The last 24 hours have also seen 3,999 tests being analysed in Estonia in relation to coronavirus, of which the results of 311 were positive. In total, 206 of the new cases were unvaccinated, while 105 infected individuals had completed the vaccination process.

A total of 951 vaccine doses have been administered over the past 24 hours, with 246 individuals receiving their first injections. As of this morning, 171,176 individuals had received their additional or booster doses. Of the total population in Estonia, 59.1% are fully vaccinated.

A total of 223 patients who have COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment after having developed serious symptoms, including 178 patients who have not been vaccinated (which covers 80% of the overall figure), and forty-five patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 20% of the overall figure).
