Coronavirus dataset

As of May, the Health Board finished publishing its daily COVID-19 statistics and will now be providing overviews of the infection situation on a once a week basis. The coronavirus map on the Health Board’s website will be updated once a week, on Tuesdays, with new numerical figures also being published at the same time.

Differences in numbers may occur, as healthcare providers (including laboratories) may correct, edit and cancel documents subsequently. Modifications to documents may be made to improve data quality. People also turn to healthcare professionals, for example for correcting data on a COVID certificate.
Upon subsequent correction of data, a new version of the document by the health care provider (laboratory) shall be sent to the health information system and the previous version shall become invalid. As for total results, the calculation of yesterday’s total + results obtained in the last 24 hours does not always work. Instead, the total results in the time series is calculated as the sum of currently valid results.

Overall, 3,001 individuals in Estonia who have been infected with coronavirus have died as a result.
